Portable Blenders

Buying guide

Portable blenders here run from a 300 mL personal cup to a 1000 mL family jug, so capacity should follow the number of people. The Green Lion Mixmate 300ML and G-Blend X 0.3 L handle one small serving. The 500 mL models, the Green Lion Mug Blend and the Nutri Blend, suit a breakfast drink or protein shake. The 600 mL machines, the Bson 600 mL, the Green Lion Ultimate Blender and the BlendJet BJ-V2X, cover a full portion, and the Nutri Blend Plus at 1000 mL is for sharing.

Technology comes next. A standard blender breaks fruit down quickly, while the Porodo Lifestyle Juice & Smoothie Blender uses a vacuum to pull contents to the blades for smoother green juices. The Porodo Lifestyle Nut Milk Maker is a different appliance entirely: its thermal jar heats the milk and keeps it warm for hours. The Porodo LifeStyle 2 in 1 churns a base into ice cream.

Everything here is cordless and charges over USB-C, so you can blend in the office, the gym or the car without a Type G three-pin socket at 230 V. A two-to-three-hour charge buys ten to fifteen cycles. Never leave a blender charging in a parked car at 45–50 °C.

Delivery is 12 AED below 150 AED and free at 150 AED and above, in one to two business days, with card, Tabby, Tamara or cash on delivery. Returns are open for 7 calendar days from receipt, with return shipping on the customer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a vacuum blender and a standard one?

A vacuum blender pulls the contents down towards the blades with suction, so fibrous fruit breaks down more completely and the texture comes out smoother. You see the difference most clearly with leafy greens and berries, where separation and colour change are obvious. A standard blender is quicker and cheaper, and it is perfectly fine for fresh-fruit smoothies. If you make green juice daily and keep finding pulp floating on top, the vacuum route is the better one.

Can portable blenders crush ice and frozen fruit?

Frozen fruit is usually fine, especially banana and berries, which are soft enough for most of these motors. Ice is much harder and should not be assumed to work. The practical rule is small or crushed ice only, never more than a third of the cup, and start with a short pulse before adding more. Check the wattage on the product page — the Bson 600 mL is rated at 70 W and the G-Blend X at 40 W — if crushed ice in your drinks is the main use.

Do these run on mains or battery, and can I use them in the car?

Every portable blender in this section runs on a built-in battery, which is the entire reason the category exists: no socket, no cable, no waiting for a counter. Charging is over USB-C, and a full charge usually gives you ten to fifteen blending cycles. The one thing to avoid is charging in a hot car — a battery sitting at 45–50 °C loses charge fast and wears out sooner, so plug it in indoors instead. Your UAE Type G three-pin socket at 230 V is only ever needed for the wall adapter.

Which size should I buy, and how do I compare the value?

Buy for the number of drinkers, not the number on the box. 300 to 500 mL is one person, one drink; 600 mL is a full portion; 1000 mL is for a family or for anyone who does not want to stop and pour halfway. On value, compare the serving count and the power rating together — a larger jug on a weaker motor will frustrate you more than a small one that blends well. Note that stock in this section moves quickly, so the product page is the place to check what is available today.
